Indirect Searches for New Physics at the time of LHC - Conference

Mar 22, 2010 - Mar 24, 2010

Abstract
Low energy precision experiments are complementary to direct searches for new particles at colliders and can in principle be sensitive to much shorter scales. Low energy experiments therefore set stringent constraints on what we can expect to see at the LHC, and on the flavour structure of new physics. The conference will focus on the contribution precision experiments can give to the interpretation of LHC results.

Topics
* Interplay between low energy and high pT physics in constraining new physics or, in case of discoveries, in understanding its detailed structure
* Flavour and CP violation in the quark and leptonic sectors
* CP violation in flavour conserving transitions (EDMs)
* Precision studies in flavour and CP conserving observables like (g-2) of the muon

The total number of participants is limited to about 80 people. For their accommodation the participants should contact Studio Guidi
(tel +39 055 241561 – fax +39 055 2346178).
There will be a conference fee of 60 Euros to help defray costs of coffee breaks and lunches.
