The Dark Matter Connection: Theory and Experiment

May 17, 2010 - May 21, 2010

Abstract
A wide variety of cosmological and astrophysical observations, on a wide range of length scales, have established overwhelming evidence that dark matter is the building block of structures in the Universe, however they do not discriminate among the many viable dark matter candidates. The conference is dedicated to all aspects of dark matter physics, with sessions on: dark matter and structure formation; dark matter candidates and LHC and and other experimental searches for the underlying particle physics models; direct and indirect detection of dark matter particles and relative backgrounds.

The total number of participants is limited to about 80 people. Participants are encouraged to propose contributed talks. For their accommodation the participants should contact Studio Guidi (e-mail: eventi@studioguidisrl.it ; tel: +39 055 241561; fax: +39 055 2346178). There will be no proceedings but pdf of talks will be posted on the conference webpage. There will be a conference fee of 100 Euros to help defray costs of coffee breaks, lunches and the May,18 social dinner.

Organizers
Howard Baer (University of Oklahoma, Norman (OK), USA) Laura Covi (DESY, Hamburg, Germany)
Leszek Roszkowski (University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK) Piero Ullio (SISSA, Trieste, Italy)
