GGI lectures on the theory of fundamental interactions

8-26 January 2018
Galileo Galilei Institute for Theoretical Physics Firenze

The lectures are primarily addressed to Ph.D. students in High Energy Particle and Astroparticle Physics. Participation of post-docs is also encouraged. The aim of the school is to give a pedagogical introduction to the basic concepts and tools needed for research, covering the foundations of the subject at a deep and advanced level. Lectures will be given on the blackboard. Students will have the possibility to take exams for the courses, if requested by their doctoral school.

Thanks to the generous contribution of the COST Association via the Action “Fundamental Connections”, extra funding is available to support participants from a number of target countries (see Practical info for the list). Students based in these countries are particularly encouraged to apply.
