These lecture will provide an introduction to modern amplitude methods with an eye towards topics of current research. The following topics will be covered: 1) Spinor-helicity formalism, Parke-Taylor formula
 
2) Tree level on-shell recursion, BCFW recursion
 
3) Supersymmetry, on-shell superfields and superamplitudes
 
4) Loop-level unitarity methods
 
5) Color/kinematics duality and BCJ relations
 
6) Amplitudes in gravity and double-copy construction
