Global vs. local supersymmetry; the gravitino.

Pure supergravity.

Supergravity with a cosmological constant.

Matter couplings and gaugings.

Applications: susy breaking in supergravity, no-scale models, cosmology.

N=2 supergravity.

Black hole solutions; supersymmetry and attractors; extremality vs. supersymmetry; first order formalism.  
 
 
Prerequisites
 
General Relativity, including basic notions of differential geometry and black holes. Some supersymmetry.
