In Addition to the main programs and schools, the GGI can host conferences and miniprograms in areas within the scientific interests of the Institute. Each host activity should be the subject of a proposal, containing details about the scientific program. The proposal should be submitted by filling the Other Events web form. The applications are reviewed by the Center Council every two months. As a general rule, the dates of the host activities should not overlap with the main activities of the GGI. For each host activity a contact person within the organising committee should be nominated. There are no funds and no secreterial support available for these activities.

It is a new web-seminar series on the theory of fundamental interactions, covering a wide spectrum of arguments. The aim is to discuss the open questions in fundamental physics while offering to researches and Ph.D. students a simple introduction to some of the hottes topics in the fiels. "GGI Tea Breaks" will include Theory Colloquia given by estabilished experts as well as Focus Meetings on special topics given by two or more scientists with different viewpoints.
