GGI Lectures on the Theory of Fundamental Interactions
Jan 07, 2014 - Jan 24, 2014
Abstract
The lectures are primarily addressed to Ph.D. students in Theoretical Particle Physics. Participation of experimentalists and post-docs is also encouraged. The aim of the school is to give a pedagogical introduction to the basic concepts and tools needed for research, covering the foundations of the subject at a deep and advanced level. Presentations will be given on the blackboard.
Topics
This year the following courses will be scheduled:
Stefano Catani: Perturbative QCD (12 hours)
Gino Isidori: Flavor Physics (10 hours)
David Shih: Supersymmetry (10 hours)
Matthew Strassler: Collider Physics (9 hours)
Raman Sundrum: Electroweak Symmetry Breaking (9 hours)
Tomer Volansky: Dark Matter (9 hours)
Organizers
Roberto Contino, Stefania De Curtis, Michele Redi,
Enrico Trincherini, Andrea Wulzer
