Training Week

Advanced School on Precision Cosmology and Dark Matter

Aug 25, 2025 - Aug 29, 2025

Apply (deadline: May 31, 2025 )
Note: you are applying after the deadline

Abstract
This school is tailored for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in using cosmological observables to unravel the nature of dark matter. The program will focus on the state-of-the-art methods for modeling the universe on large scales, developments in BSM model building for cosmology and the interpretation of CMB observations and galaxy survey data, which can provide key insights into the properties of dark matter. Participants will gain hands-on experience through tutorials on using state-of-the-art cosmological codes to analyze data and test theoretical models. By combining lectures with practical sessions, the school will equip attendees with essential tools to drive research at the forefront of cosmology and dark matter physics.

HOW TO APPLY: In order to start the application, click the Apply button above in order to fill out the application form. After submitting the form, you will receive an email from the organizers with instructions on how to send your CV and a brief summary of your research interests. One recommendation letter has to be sent directly to marko.simonovic@unifi.it. Please note that GGI can cover local accommodation for a limited number of participants. In the application form, kindly indicate if you require financial support. Both the CV and the recommendation letter must be submitted by May 31st. Please apply in advance to ensure you have enough time to submit all required documents.
