Abstract
String and M-theory can provide useful information for transport phenomena of strongly interacting theories, both in 3+1 as well as in lower dimensions. The crucial theoretic setup for such studies is AdS/CFT. The conference aims in bringing together experts working in applied as well as in more theoretic aspects of AdS/CFT, to discuss and develop further the various techniques and concepts that are currently used in efforts to understand the Holographic States of Matter.

The total number of participants is limited to about 70 people. Participants are encouraged to propose contributed talks. There will be no proceedings but pdf of talks will be posted on the conference webpage. There will be a conference fee of 100 Euros to help defray costs of lunches and coffee breaks.
